SUNFLOWER PULP

It is obtained by grinding the remaining product after oil is extracted from the sunflower seeds. Production methods of sunflower pulp have important impact on the amount and quality of the nutrients in the pulp. The most important factor which affects the feed value of the sunflower pulp is the scab. Since the scab’s digestibility level and feed value is very low, the value of the sunflower pulps vary depending on the ratio of the scabs obtained. Sunflower pulp is a valuable feed for especially ruminants and they are consumed with pleasure by all animals because of their flavor.
